TLPP Helps Provide Boats for “Yolanda” victims

“Tulay Lingap ni Padre Pio (TLPP),” the social action arm of the Capuchins in the Philippines provided fishing boats as part of its relief and rehabilitation efforts to the affected communities of super typhoon “Yolanda” (Haiyan). This  effort aims in providing immediate assistance, fishing boats, for the livelihood of the victims. As of the moment, TLPP has donated 12 fishing boats to the CBCP’s social action center “Caritas Manila.” An additional 5 fishing boats were donated to Concepcion, Iloilo thru Mr. Edu Manzano. The 16 remaining fishing boats will be donated to the communities that the Capuchin in the Philippines will adopt. The 16 remaining boats were made through the donations from different institutions. 8 fishing boats from “SERCADE,” (Servicio Capuchino para el desarrollo), 2 from Global Filipino, 2 from Mutoh industries, 1 from Roel Constantino Fiji, 1 from Costelo family and another from an anonymous donor.
