11th Provincial Chapter of the Capuchin Philippine Province

Last May 26 to 30, 2014, the Capuchin brothers of the Philippine Province held the 11th Provincial Chapter at the Capuchin Retreat Center in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. Seventy one brothers gathered to re-strengthen their bonds and make preparations for the future of their presence in the Philippines and their mission works abroad. The Chapter was presided by Br. Victorius Dwiardy,OFMCap, General Definitor for Pacific Asia Capuchin Conference. There was likewise, an election for the Provincial Minister and his Provincial Councilors who will serve as guide and ministers for all the Capuchins in the Philippines in the next triennium.

The newly elected brothers are:

Br. Eugenio Juanilo P. Lopez,OFMCap (Minister Provincial)

Br. Ron Artemio E. Ojeda,OFMCap (Provincial Vicar)

Br. Roberto D. Peralta,OFMCap (Second Councilor)

Br. Leny S. Escalada,OFMCap (Third Councilor)

Br. Agapito M. Feniz,OFMCap (Fourth Councilor)

As the brothers end the Chapter, they begin a new era in the history of the Capuchins in the Philippines. May God continue to bless their paths as they do their best to serve God and mankind under the footsteps of St Francis as the follow the life of Jesus under the patronage of Our Lady of Lourdes.
