Several plans have be made but it is a recent architectural plan drafted by Architect Rexjohn Maruel P. Acdal that was approved. During the ground-breaking rites Br. Eugenio focused his reflection on the scriptural reading proclaimed on the importance of keeping in mind that Jesus, our Lord is the cornerstone of every endeavor that one should take and that one should build on this foundation.
The construction site was blessed and a time capsule was lowered at the starting point of the construction. With the blessing of the Lord and the support of benefactors the Province hopes that the construction of the new friary will remain unimpeded. Lunch was served after the rites.
