The guardians, local economos and parish priests gathered together for a convivence last July 26 to 27, 2016 at the Capuchin Retreat Center, Lipa City. The foremost purpose of the gathering is to clarify the role of each ministry in the fraternity and to identify the relation of each ministry to the other in fraternal dynamics. On the first day of the gathering, the guardians met alone with the Provincial Minister to discuss the current status and concerns of each fraternity reflecting collegially on possible solutions to the challenges of fraternity life.  Br. Chris Pine, OFM gave a talk on Franciscan Leadership and Fraternal Life on the second day with the guardians being joined by the local economos and the parish priests. The afternoon of the second day was spent with the Provincial Economo updating the fraternities on the state of their economy, a reflection on the Proposed Statutes of Parishes and Provincial Updates.
